Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (cabinet.gov.krd) - Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani received Mr. Tan Banglin, outgoing Consul-General of the People's Republic of China to the Kurdistan Region, and his accompanying delegation.

Consul-General Banglin expressed his thanks to the people and government of the Kurdistan Region for the great cooperation and facilities provided to him. He also expressed hope that relations between the Kurdistan Region and the People's Republic of China in all fields will be strengthened, particularly in the fields of trade and investment.

Prime Minister Barzani thanked Consul-General Banglin for his support that had a significant impact on the Region's progress and strengthening of relations between the Kurdistan Region and the People's Republic of China, wishing him success in his next position. He said the Kurdistan Regional Government would continue to support and provide facilities to the new consul-general of the People's Republic of China. He expressed hope of further development in relations, especially in trade and investment for which the KRG is ready to provide all assistance.
