Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (cabinet.gov.krd) - Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani received the outgoing  Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq Jan Vyčítal and his accompanying delegation, including Consul General of the Czech Republic to the Kurdistan Region Michal Svoboda.

Upon his departure from Iraq, Ambassador Vyčítal thanked the Kurdistan Regional Government and its institutions for the cooperation and assistance provided to him during his tenure.

Prime Minister Barzani wished Ambassador Vyčítal success in his next position. He said the Kurdistan Regional Government would continue its support to the new Czech ambassador in Baghdad and to the Czech Consulate-General in Erbil. He also expressed the KRG's willingness to further develop relations.

Topics pertaining to the situation in the greater region were also discussed.
