Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani meets with Leader of the Kurdistan Justice Group

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani today met with Leader of the Kurdistan Justice Group, Ali Bapir, to discuss the political situation in the region, as well as the 2021 federal budget bill.

Mr. Bapir praised the perseverance and efforts of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s negotiating team in representing the interests of the Kurdistan Region and fighting for the rights and financial entitlements of its citizens.

The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the collective effort of all parties and Kurdistan factions was a crucial factor in the Kurdistan Regional Government reaching an agreement with the Iraqi parties and in the passing of the 2021 budget bill.
