Prime Minister welcomes Indian diplomat, Ausaf Sayeed

 

On Tuesday, the Kurdistan Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani, received Mr. Ausaf Sayeed, Secretary (CPV & OIA) at the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

The meeting was attended by the Indian ambassador to Iraq Mr. Prashant Pise and the country’s Consul general to Erbil Mr. Subhash Chandra Kain.

Mr. Sayeed briefed the Prime Minister on the purpose of their visit and expressed his country’s willingness to strengthen ties with Kurdistan, especially in trade, health care, information technology and activating the banking system.

The Kurdistan Prime Minister highlighted the government’s work on diversifying income sources, establishing a strong economic base and digitizing public services. He also expressed his wishes to boost ties with India in the mentioned sectors.
