KRG Prime Minister Bids Farewell to German Consul General

On Monday, 26 August 2024, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) bade farewell to Klaus Streicher, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Kurdistan Region.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to Mr Streicher, the German government, and the people of Germany for their support and friendship with the Kurdistan Region, and expressed the KRG’s desire to further develop such bilateral relations.

The Consul General thanked the KRG for its support to the German Consulate and emphasised Germany’s commitment to enhancing relations with the Kurdistan Region.
