Statement from the Kurdistan Regional Government

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - The attack and assault on a young lady in Sualimani’s Huana area is disgraceful as another incident of assault towards another woman occurred in Sulaimani province in recent days.

These incidents are unacceptable and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) stands against all kinds of violence and violations of human rights in general and women's rights and legal action should be taken against the perpetrators of these crimes immediately.
