Construction works begin to design two-sided strategic road in Soran

The ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Region Government has continued its works on improving the infrastructure system and boosting road safety.

The project of designing a two-sided road of Spilk-Khalifan with 10-kilometer length and 8- meter width per side is aiming at developing the tourism sector, enhancing road safety, and developing trade in Soran administration.

The construction team has been working daily, hoping to complete the project before its deadline.

Harman Hikmet, the project’s survey manager told the official website of KRG: “The time dedicated to this project is 450 days, but the company promised to finish the task before its deadline.”

This project, which costs 64 billion Iraqi Dinars, uses two interchangers to increase road safety for drivers.
