95% of the first phase of the Dukan-Chwarqurna two-sided project has been completed

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – The ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) continues to provide services to the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and the construction of roads in all cities and towns of the Kurdistan Region.

The construction of the two-sided road between Dukan and Chwarqurna is one of the strategic project of the government, which is 53 kilometers long and has been implemented in three phases.
Mohammed Ahmad, the supervisor of the two-sided road project between Dukan and Chwarqurna told the official website of the Kurdistan Regional Government: “The first phase of the project, which is located in Raperin, 95% completed Each side is 8.5 meters.”

“With the completion of the first phase of the project, the road between Chwarqurna and Erbil has become one hour and 15 minutes,”.

The first phase of the road costs 52 billion dinars and is covered with three layers of asphalt. It includes four bridges with a length of 340 meters.
