A new industrial zone will be built in Duhok

Another important project of the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) implemented in Duhok province, the project consists of five areas and covers an area of 300 dunam, the implementation cost is more than $ 62 million.

Three of the five areas of the project have been completed which include 2,378 shops of different sizes. Work is underway in two other areas.

The new project will replace the current industrial zone, which is located at the eastern gate of Duhok and has given the city an uncivilized appearance, to increase the amount of greenery in the city, the existing industrial zone will be turned into a green area.
