The electronicization of judicial offices has reached its final stage
Kurdistan Region have 71 judicial offices which citizen's daily transactions are handled. During 2020 and 2021, more than 1.5 million transactions of citizens have been processed, thus large number of people in the Kurdistan Region will reach these offices and are considered as large service offices, so that is why decided to change their system to electronic system Citizen's transactions should be processed faster, better and more secure.
Azad Rostam, Director General of Justice Offices in the Ministry of Justice of the Kurdistan Regional Government, said: "We are now in the final stage of the process of electronic judicial offices in the Kurdistan Region According to our experience, since the beginning of the changes, we have taken an important and necessary step to reduce routine and time and citizens have more confidence in protecting their transactions."
Abdulstar Faisal, director of electronic judicial offices in the Kurdistan Region, said that they have so far 61 offices under the supervision of the General Directorate of Judicial Offices and would have been completed, With the electronicization of offices in the past, we have been able to provide new and suitable buildings for all those offices that are not compatible with this system, which in addition to giving a beautiful appearance to the offices, huge expenses have been removed and the Kurdistan Region has implemented the decision that 75% of the workforce of projects and companies should be local. Through this system, we have been able to provide job opportunities for more than 960 people, all Kurds and graduates of universities of the Kurdistan Region.
Dylan Jamal Aziz, head of the project to electronic judicial offices in Sulaimani, Halabja, Garmian and Raperin, said that there are 34 judicial offices in their region, 29 of them which have been electronized and five remain before the New Year, soon all their systems will be electronized and they will be a part of the electronic offices.
