The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has approved the allocation of about two billion dinars to mitigate the effects of floods

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has approved the allocation of 1 billion 985 million dinars to serve the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and reduce the impact of floods in the village of Grdjotiar near Erbil. This amount will be implemented in stages on the investment budget of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources.

Preventing floods and reducing the damage in different cities of Kurdistan is one of the main tasks of the Kurdistan Regional Government, for this purpose, various measures are taken.
