The Kurdistan Regional Government will participate in the Global Media Congress in the UAE

A delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Department of Media and Information, led by Dr. Jotiar Adel, Head of the Media and Information department, is attending the Global Media Congress in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Global Media Congress, held annually, is a comprehensive gathering in the field of media, drawing participation from numerous centres, agencies, and both official and unofficial media outlets worldwide. It serves as a platform for communication and discussion, facilitating the exchange of the latest developments in the media industry.

The Global Media Congress for 2023 is scheduled from 14 to 16 November 2023, with an anticipated attendance of 5,541 delegates, over 200 media companies, 170 keynote speakers, and more than 30 panels and media leadership conferences. The event is expected to host 14,000 journalists, diplomats, and media leaders from around the world.

The upcoming conference will centre on themes such as environmental protection, innovation, media technology, sports media, education, development, and artificial intelligence.

The conference will offer an opportunity to convey messages, exchange views, enhance public relations, coordinate efforts, and foster media cooperation to promote the work of media agencies.

Over the three days of the congress, the Department of Media and Information of the Kurdistan Regional Government is anticipated to communicate the government's media message across various levels of the congress. Simultaneously, the department aims to build stronger relations with regional and international media, actively engaging in media discussions and panels addressing pertinent issues.
