Kurdistan Region Declares Official Holiday in Commemoration of Prophet Muhammad's Birth

In commemoration of the birth anniversary of the Messenger of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), observed on September 27, 2023 (12th of Rabi' al-Awwal), all institutions within the Kurdistan Region will declare an official holiday.

Ministries are instructed to maintain the regular salary distribution schedule in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

Normal operations will resume across the region on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
