Major Section of Slemani’s 100-Metre Road to Open by End of 2025

Construction of Slemani’s 100-metre road is moving ahead steadily, with the 21-kilometre Tasluja–Tanjaro section set to open by the end of the year.
The full project stretches 34 kilometres and features a four-lane design spanning 62 metres in width. It includes two main carriageways (21 metres each) and two service roads (10 metres each), built to ease traffic flow and support long-term urban development.
Major infrastructure components include seven key intersections, five underpasses, one overpass, and a 500-metre bridge across the Tanjaro River.
So far, 27 kilometres of the road have been paved, with final surfacing currently underway. The project is being executed by local companies and workers, with a focus on maintaining high construction standards.
Once completed, the road is expected to reduce congestion, improve connectivity, and give Slemani a significant economic and aesthetic boost.
