Transforming the Region: KRG's Ninth Cabinet Launches 564 Projects Worth $24 Billion

Since its formation in 2018, the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government has undertaken over 564 investment projects worth more than $24 billion. The implementation of development initiatives remains ongoing, reflecting the cabinet’s continuing commitment to economic growth and sectoral advancement.

Key achievements by sector include:

- Industry: 142 projects worth $3.649 billion
- Trade: 142 projects worth $1.194 billion
- Tourism: 78 projects worth $7.559 billion
- Housing: 60 projects worth $4.868 billion
- Education: 49 projects worth $417 million
- Health: 34 projects worth $366 million
- Agriculture: 21 projects worth $561 million
- Sports: 14 projects worth $84 million
- Joint and Foreign Investment: 11 projects worth $5.154 billion
- Services: 8 projects worth $100 million
- Art: 3 projects worth $76 million
- Banking: 2 projects worth $19 million

These accomplishments mark a significant milestone in the KRG’s efforts to strengthen domestic and foreign investment across all sectors. The government remains committed to sustaining development and economic growth throughout the Kurdistan Region.
