KRG Official Website Ranks Second Nationwide Among News and Media Platforms

According to the latest global rankings by SimilarWeb, which analyse web traffic and online data, the official website of the Kurdistan Regional Government (gov.krd) has been ranked Second in Iraq within the News and Media Publishers category.
Observers note that the growing reach of the government’s website reflects an evolving pattern in communication between citizens and public institutions. This development is associated with several factors, notably the website’s role as a central source for official information, Citizens, media outlets, and journalists increasingly consult the platform to access and verify government announcements and decisions, either through shared links on social media or by visiting the website directly.
