Tourism Master Plan Launched in Soran District

Following a decision by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has launched a tourism master plan in Soran District.

The plan will begin with the redesign of Bekhal Resort to meet modern international tourism standards.

A local company will carry out the redesign, with work starting next week and expected to be completed within a year.

The project aims to make the area more attractive to boost tourism and revitalise the local economy.

The KRG continues to develop tourist attractions across Kurdistan to better serve citizens and visitors, with sites in Soran District included in the master plan.
