Haji Omaran Main Road Undergoing Major Upgrade

Work is underway to upgrade the main road in Haji Omaran into a 2,500-metre dual carriageway, with 45% of the project already completed.

The development includes the installation of underground sewerage and electricity networks, concrete retaining walls, designated parking areas, road markings, and modern landscaping. Upon completion, the road is expected to boost trade, tourism, and economic activity in the region.

Despite financial constraints, the Kurdistan Regional Government remains committed to strengthening infrastructure and promoting regional development.
