KRG Nears Completion of Slemani’s 100-Metre Road Project, Boosting Urban Connectivity and Growth
Slemani’s 100-Metre Road Project is entering a major milestone, with the first 26-kilometre phase expected to open soon.
The full stretch of the project spans 38 kilometres and features two main carriageways constructed to international standards by local contractors.
Once complete, the road will include one overpass, five underpasses, seven intersections, and 68 waterways - designed to ensure smoother traffic flow and improved connectivity across the city.
As one of Slemani’s largest infrastructure undertakings, the 100-Metre Road Project aims to ease congestion, boost mobility, and support both residential and commercial transport.
Beyond its practical benefits, the project will enhance the city’s appearance and play a key role in Slemani’s ongoing urban expansion and modernisation.
