Shiladze Corniche Set to Enhance Tourism and Leisure in Amedi

The Shiladze Corniche (Promenade) Project in Amedi has reached 65% completion and is progressing in line with its 610-day construction schedule.

Stretching one kilometre in length and valued at more than IQD 4 billion, the project will include restaurants, cafes, fountains, children’s playground, gardens, comfort and visitor amenities, and modern lighting.

As part of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) wider tourism strategy, the Shiladze Corniche is among several flagship initiatives designed to revitalise the tourism sector and support economic diversification in the region.
