Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani discusses the development of Halabja with Governor Azad Tofiq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani today received a delegation from the Halabja Governorate, headed by Governor Azad Tofiq.

Deputy Prime Minister Talabani affirmed that the Kurdistan Regional Government is committed to the economic development and prosperity of all areas of the Kurdistan Region.

Governor Tofiq was informed of the new government’s plans to boost economic growth and trade in Halabja through investment in strategic infrastructure projects and the creation of new jobs.

Deputy Prime Minister Talabani also provided an update on the Kurdistan Regional Government’s national economic diversification strategy, which aims to modernise key sectors of the economy and deliver growing prosperity for all the Kurdistan Region’s people.
