Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani receives French Consul General

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani on Monday met with French Consul General in Erbil Olivier Decottignies.

During the meeting, both reviewed recent security developments in Iraq, and in the disputed territories in particular.

The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the shared benefits of stronger coordination between Peshmerga and Iraqi security forces.

Deputy Prime Minister Talabani noted ongoing talks between the Kurdistan Region and the Federal Government on disputes. The Deputy Prime Minister, who leads the negotiations, said that the dialogue will continue until both sides reach a comprehensive agreement.
