Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani discusses private sector development with the Netherlands

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani on Tuesday met with representatives from the Dutch Consulate in Erbil to discuss best practices and measures to develop the private sector in the Kurdistan Region.

Both sides agreed upon a strategy that would focus on providing greater online support to businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as streamline the digitalization of the registration process for small businesses.

The strategy includes developing a dedicated center that will support small businesses and help identify investment opportunities.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Dutch representatives for their support in assisting the Kurdistan Regional Government with its reform plan to grow the private sector and for sharing their experience and best practices.
