Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani holds roundtable

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani today met with the Sulaymaniyah General Directorate for Investment to discuss efforts to transform the Kurdistan Region into a preferred destination in the Middle East for investors.

The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated that, as part of the ninth Cabinet’s priorities, the Kurdistan Regional Government will continue to work with the private sector to attract foreign investments and reduce bureaucratic hurdles for local investors to help businesses thrive in a challenging global economy.

Deputy Prime Minister Talabani also stated the Kurdistan Regional Government will focus on expanding the Kurdistan Region’s infrastructure, which will include projects to develop affordable housing, and strengthening the Kurdistan Region’s agricultural, industrial, and tourism sectors.
