Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani visits Khor Mor gas field

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani on Saturday led a field visit to the Khor Mor gas field with the Ministers of Peshmerga and of Natural Resources and a number of security advisors.

During the visit, the delegation met with representatives of Dana Gas to discuss the recent attacks on the expansion project of the Khor Mor gas field.

Deputy Prime Minister Talabani stressed the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will continue to prioritize the security of workers in the field and is working with relevant Iraqi authorities on this issue.

He also noted these attacks will not have an impact on production and that supplies for civilian consumption will be protected.
