President Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani promote bilateral ties and trade with world leaders in Abu Dhabi

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – President Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday led a delegation of the Kurdistan Region to Abu Dhabi at the invitation of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.

President Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani sought to strengthen ties between the Kurdistan Region and its regional partners in line with the Kurdistan Regional Government’s commitment to improving trade and developing the economy.

During meetings with officials, the leaders highlighted the Kurdistan Region's readiness to explore new opportunities for cooperation, growth and prosperity. They emphasised that the KRG is committed to making the Kurdistan Region a choice destination for investors.

The trip included meetings with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed; the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad Bin Salman; President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian; the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov; and other senior regional leaders.
