Prime Minister Masrour Barzani congratulates Yezidi community on the Feast of Ezi

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – On behalf of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today congratulated the Yezidi community on the Feast of Ezi (Eda Rojiet Ezi).

Prime Minister Barzani extended his best wishes to the Yezidi community and invited all Kurdistani peoples to join in celebrating the diversity and pluralism of the Kurdistan Region.

Acknowledging the great hardships endured by the Yezidi community in recent years, Prime Minister Barzani reaffirmed the KRG’s ongoing support. He also pledged to continue efforts to locate and rescue missing Yezidis and help the displaced return to their homes.

Prime Minister Barzani stated that the KRG remains committed to protecting and defending the rights of all minorities in the Kurdistan Region as well as promoting and safeguarding its culture of peace and coexistence.
