Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Congratulates Yezidis on Eid Jamayi

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - On behalf of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today congratulated the global Yezidi people on the occasion of Eid Jamayi.

Prime Minister Barzani underscored the KRG’s commitment to supporting and protecting Yezidis and all the peoples of the Kurdistan Region under one pluralistic nation which embraces diversity as its strength.

Prime Minister Barzani praised the resilience of the Yezidi people, who have withstood immense suffering at the hands of terrorists in recent years. He called on the international community to adopt shared approaches to prevent such tragedies happening again.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of maintaining peaceful coexistence among the peoples of the Kurdistan Region.
