Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives the US Ambassador to Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today received the US Ambassador to Iraq, Matthew Tueller.

Ambassador Tueller expressed the US government’s support for ongoing dialogue between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government of Iraq.

The Prime Minister emphasised the new government’s commitment to a constructive and peaceful relationship with Baghdad.

The Prime Minister and Ambassador also discussed how they might strengthen bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the US.
