PM statement on 45th anniversary of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK)

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), I extend my warm wishes to the PUK leadership, its members and supporters. I wish you success.

The PUK is an important and central partner in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). I hope we, together with the Change Movement (Gorran) and other political parties in the Kurdistan Region, will unite behind the common goal of defending Kurdistan Region’s constitutional rights, and cooperate in getting through this difficult situation by supporting the KRG’s agenda, including the implementation of the reform process, which is the demand of all parties as well as the public.
