Prime Minister Masrour Barzani meets with Spanish Ambassador to Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday met with Spanish Ambassador to Iraq Juan Stemmann to discuss bilateral trade relations.

Recognising the extreme challenges that the world currently faces, the two spoke of the importance of deepening of bilateral relations.

Prime Minister Barzani reaffirmed the commitment to modernising the Kurdistan Region, which includes economic reform and diversification, and the development of the agriculture sector in particular. He also highlighted progress in facilitating access for local and foreign investors, and welcomed Spain’s expertise and support on the matter.
