Prime Minister Masrour Barzani conveys condolences to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi on Baghdad fire

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today spoke with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi on the tragic incident at Baghdad’s Ibn Al-Khatib and issued the following statement:

“I am deeply saddened by the lives lost in the hospital fire in Baghdad last night. I’ve spoken to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to convey my condolences on behalf of the KRG and express readiness to receive the wounded.”

Prime Minister Kadhimi expressed his gratitude and both agreed that the country has suffered enough pain and loss, and such tragedies should not be repeated.
