Prime Minister Masrour Barzani meets with Iraqi Minister of Electricity

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today welcomed the Federal Government of Iraq’s Minister of Electricity, Majid Hantosh.

During the meeting, both sides explored ways to strengthen Iraq and the Kurdistan Region’s energy independence and areas of cooperation to improve the country’s power grid and electricity supply.

The Prime Minister affirmed the Kurdistan Regional Government’s readiness to work with the Federal Ministry of Electricity and the National Electricity Network on joint projects, recognising Iraq’s rich potential and the positive impact it could have on the lives of its citizens.
