Prime Minister Masrour Barzani meets with Turkish Ambassador to Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today met with outgoing Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Fatih Yildiz, to discuss bilateral ties and the latest regional developments.

Both sides recognised the important relationship between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region, highlighting the opportunities to enhance relations across the spectrum, particularly in trade and investment, and the need to strengthen cooperation between Ankara and Erbil, based on mutual respect and shared goals.

The Prime Minister thanked the Turkish Ambassador for his ongoing efforts to improve ties with the Kurdistan Region. He also wished the outgoing ambassador success in his new role as his mission in Iraq comes to an end.
