PM Masrour Barzani extends condolences to Dr. Kadhim Habib’s family

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – On Monday 30 August, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani issued the following statement on the death of Dr. Kadhim Habib.

“I was saddened to hear about the passing of prominent Iraqi writer and intellectual, Dr. Kadhim Habib.

“Dr. Kadhim was a respected and well-known activist who tirelessly advocated for human rights and the rights of the Kurdish people. On behalf of the KRG, I offer my sincere condolences to his family and may he Rest In Peace.”
