Prime Minister Masrour Barzani welcomes Greek Ambassador to Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today welcomed the Greek Ambassador to Iraq, Leonidas Contovounesios.

In the meeting, attended by the new Greek Consul General in Erbil, Afsimos Kostopolus, both sides discussed the situation in Iraq and bilateral ties between the Kurdistan Region and Greece.

The Greek ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to further develop relations with the Kurdistan Region, particularly in the fields of investment, security cooperation, and collaboration in the agriculture and tourism sectors.
