Prime Minister Masrour Barzani meets with UK ambassador to Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Wednesday met with UK Ambassador to Iraq Stephen Hickey to commemorate the conclusion of his duties.

Prime Minister Barzani wished the ambassador luck, and praised his work in developing the ties between the UK, Kurdistan Region, and Iraq.

The ambassador reiterated UK’s support for the region, and addressed the importance of continuing the help and assistance for the Peshmerga Forces in combatting terrorism.

Reforms within the Ministry of Peshmerga, the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil, and the COVID-19 vaccination process were other topics of discussion.
