Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Welcomes New Saudi Consul General

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today met with the new Consul General for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Kurdistan Region, Mohammad bin Suleiman al-Asiri.

The Prime Minster congratulated al-Asiri on his position as consul general, and expressed his hopes for elevating ties between the Kurdistan Region and Riyadh.

Al-Asiri delivered the personal regards of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, and declared the kingdom’s readiness and willingness to strengthen their relationship with the Kurdistan Regional Government, especially in the fields of trade and investment.
