PM Masrour Barzani meets with Iraqi Minister of Agriculture

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) –Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today received Muhammad Karim Al-Khafaji, the Iraqi Minister of Agriculture, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between both administrations.

The Prime Minister underscored the importance of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources working closely with the federal government to address development and sustainability concerns, as well as explore trade opportunities.

They also discussed ongoing efforts by the Kurdistan Regional Government to increase the Kurdistan Region’s wheat production and value, and how the Federal Government of Iraq can support the region’s agricultural industry.
