Prime Minister Masrour Barzani’s Labour Day message

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today issued the following statement to mark the International Day of Labour:

“I extend my best wishes to all workers in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and around the world on the occasion of International Labour Day.

“I have great respect and appreciation for the hard work of labourers who keep serving the people of Kurdistan despite the difficult financial circumstances.

“Today, we reaffirm the Kurdistan Regional Government’s commitment to protecting workers’ rights and providing a suitable working environment that takes the safety and health of both public and private sector workers into consideration.”
