Readout of PM Masrour Barzani’s call with the Emir of Qatar

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV-KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani spoke by phone today with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, to convey his best wishes for Eid.

During the call, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for Qatar’s condemnation of the February rocket attack on Erbil International Airport. They also discussed recent regional developments.

The Prime Minister and the Emir expressed their shared readiness to increase bilateral trade and investment, and agreed to stay in close contact in this regard.
