PM Masrour Barzani meets French Special Forces Commander

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Thursday met Maj. Gen. Bertrand Toujouse, General Commander of French Special Operation Forces.

Prime Minister Barzani thanked France for its enduring support and expressed the Kurdistan Region’s wish to boost ties.

Both sides discussed cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and France and the war against terror.

The commander addressed Kurdistan Region’s importance for the stability of Iraq and locally. He said his visit is to reiterate cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and France as part of the Global Coalition.
