PM Masrour Barzani meets German Minister of State

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Saturday met Miguel Berger, German State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office.

Both sides discussed developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and Germany, along with the migrant crisis on the Belarus-Poland border.

The Premier said the Kurdistan Region welcomes any European Union cooperation to help solve the issue.

The German official thanked the KRG for its efforts against smugglers and human traffickers.

The reform progress of the KRG and the relationship between Erbil and Baghdad were also discussed.
