PM Masrour Barzani meets Swedish Foreign Minister

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday met Ann Linde, the Swedish Foreign Minister.

PM Barzani thanked Sweden for supporting the Peshmerga as part of the coalition. He addressed KRG reform and work towards strengthening the economic infrastructure.

The Swedish Foreign Minister addressed the good relationship between Kurdistan Region and Sweden, and the role of Peshmerga in defeating the Islamic State (ISIS).

Both sides also discussed developments in Iraq post-elections and, crucially, the migrant crisis on the Poland-Belarus border.
