PM Masrour Barzani meets Canadian Ambassador to Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday met Ulric Shannon, outgoing Canadian ambassador to Iraq, who visited the Kurdistan Region as his tenure ends.

The Premier wished him luck, thanking him for strengthening links between Canada, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region.

The ambassador hoped these good relations will grow further.

Developments in post-election Iraq, Erbil-Baghdad relationship, and the importance of supporting the Peshmerga’s fight against ISIS were also discussed.
