PM Masrour Barzani meets Yazidi Mir and Baba Sheikh

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Saturday met Mir Hazim Tahseen Beg, Yazidi Mir and Baba Sheikh, Sheikh Ali Sheikh Alyas.

PM Barzani reiterated KRG’s support for Yazidis and the people of Shingal.

The Premier emphasized the KRG efforts in backing the federal and international rebuilding of Shingal town to enable the Yazidi’s return.

The Yazidi leaders addressed the importance of the Shingal deal in securing the area and thanked PM Barzani for approving key local projects, including naming Sharia and Khanke as sub districts.
