PM Masrour Barzani meets new French Ambassador to Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday met Eric Chevallier, the new French ambassador to Iraq.

Prime Minister Barzani congratulated the ambassador, wishing him luck in his new role.

The premier addressed the historic relationship between France and the Kurdistan Region, thanking him for his country’s enduring support.

Chevallier praised KRG reforms, pledging France’s wish to strengthen ties further.

Erbil-Baghdad relations, forthcoming Iraqi elections, and terrorism threats were also discussed.
