PM Masrour Barzani meets Turkish Minister of Trade

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday met with Mehmet Muş, the Turkish minister of trade and his delegation.

PM Barzani emphasised the importance of Turkey as a neighbour, and stressed the need to strengthen ties as it is also the gateway to Europe.

The premier said the Kurdistan Region will always cooperate with Ankara as a valued and respected neighbour.

He added that the KRG is focused on investment and will help boost the input of foreign capital in the region.

The Turkish minister pledged his country wants to strengthen ties with the Kurdistan Region, especially in trade and investment.
