PM Masrour Barzani meets with Dutch ambassador to Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday met with Michel Rentenaar, the Dutch ambassador to Iraq.

Prime Minister Barzani expressed his gratitude for the Netherlands' support and investments in the Kurdistan Region by carrying out several projects.

Both sides also discussed the latest developments in Iraq and the process of forming a new federal government.

The Dutch ambassador praised the ninth cabinet’s reform program, especially the reform process in the Ministry of Peshmerga, and expressed his country’s desire to further strengthen ties with the Kurdistan Region.

The ongoing migrant crisis and the KRG’s continuing response to prevent this crisis was another topic of discussion.
