PM Masrour Barzani meets with US military delegation

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Monday met with a US army delegation led by Brigadier General Keith C. Phillips, Senior Defense Official and Military Advisor to the US embassy in Iraq.

Both sides discussed recent developments in Iraq and ways to develop ties between the Kurdistan Region and the US.

They also emphasized the importance of strengthening the Peshmerga and Iraqi forces.

The delegation praised reforms within the Peshmerga Ministry and the steps taken to unify the ranks.
